To-do's

I accomplished something today!!! Yay!!! WooHoo!!

I know what you are probably thinking that getting 4 little kids cleaned, fed and through the day is a an accomplishment in itself. I don't disagree with that. Believe me, I don't disagree with that ONE BIT!! But, I am actually referring to accomplishing something on my "regular, do these things to improve my life" to-do list, not my "Groundhog Day, do these things to not embarrass your family and survive" to-do list. Make sense?

So, are you wondering what big, blog-worthy thing I accomplished today???

LOL, now I'm a bit embarrassed.

My big accomplishment of the day was.....

...after driving my van for 6 years and 5 days....I bought velcro and finally attached my I-PASS to the windshield of my van!!!

Yay Me!!!! I feel so good!!

I can't believe that it has taken me 6 years to do it. I've been meaning to pick up velcro, at the store....for the last SIX years!!! I have probably been in Target 300 times since I got my van. Guess what, they sell velcro at Target! Target rocks!!....the only thing that would make Target better is if they actually asked you if you needed velcro for your IPASS when you were checking out.

So, I can go to bed tonight with a feeling of accomplishment. I should probably mention that I'm on a bit of a roll. Yesterday, I scrubbed the bottom of the kitchen table and chairs....what a disgusting job that was! You know, when people say "I don't know how you manage with 4 little kids", I'm guessing that those people clean the bottom side of their kitchen table and chairs a little more frequently than I do. But anyway, mark TWO! things off of my to-do list. Cha-ching!!! What will I do tomorrow?!?!?!

Woohoo! I love ticking off something I've meant to do for ages. In NY it comes with the velcro - it's like hard plastic velcro and it's not going anywhere! I love my ezpass!

I guarantee that the table and chairs in my house are every bit as dirty, and don't get me started on how often the kid's sheets ge changed, just research the last blog post when someone puked in bed! PS does your kitchen have 5 --yes 5 junk drawers???

Its amazing how 1 little accomplishment means so much. However I bet there are a million little things that get done without ever having to be put on the "to-do" list, but then you don't give yourself credit for.
I can't wait to check some stuff off my list----if I ever stop doing the things that aren't on my list.
