Preparing the boys to be wonderful husbands...

But, it is not going so well.

Our first lesson is what *not* to say to your wife.

One afternoon, Spencer and the boys went out for a fun outing to the park or some place like that. Upon returning and taking a look around the famiy room, Jack announced "Mom, I thought the house would be cleaner when we got home." OUCH!

Then on Thanksgiving, we were driving to the Thanksgiving festivities at my mom and dads. We picked up Grandmom Adelaide on the way there so, I moved to the back of the van and was trying to squeeze myself into the middle seat between Jack and Drew's booster seats. I have done this many times, but the boosters must have shifted closer together because I was having a bit of a problem fitting. Drew noticed my struggle and said "Mom, I think that you must have grown." Double Ouch!! Definitely not what you want to hear on the way to Thanksgiving Dinner.

This morning Jack wondered (out loud) why my teeth are yellow. I don't think my teeth are yellow. :(

I think we've got a lot of work to do.

Too funny! Reminds me of last winter's weight watcher commercial. A mom was bent over picking something up while wearing her red w/ white fuz robe. Her daughter mistakenly thought she was Santa Claus :-).
