Amazing!!!
I'm a little late in posting this, but this family, of course, was VERY! excited about the Phillies winning the World Series. The crazy 2-day rain delay of game 5 worked out really well for our family. Since there were only had 3 innings left to play in the game on Wednesday, the boys were actually able to stay up and see "watch history". Although they were very excited, I don't think that they really "got" what a big deal this is. I mean some people (ahem) go through their entire lives without seeing their team win the World Series.

Before the big win...
Everyone is a bit nervous.
The final out....
It has now been 4 days since baseball season has ended. Spencer is still on "cloud 9"....I think he is going to smile all winter long. I do think that Jack misses baseball season. MLS (soccer) happened to be on tv the other day when he turned it on. He was excited to find out that it is the playoffs for soccer and has now become a Chicago Fire fan. Go Fire!!!
Congrats to the Phillies!!
