That is what my mom always said. If you give a child a balloon, one of two things are going to happen. Either it is going to pop, or it is going to float away. Either way, you are going to end up with a child in tears. Don't I know that!!
Well, there is one consequence that I had not considered. The boys each got a balloon at a birthday party that they went to on Saturday. My kids LOVE balloons and they keep them FOREVER!! It is so annoying. They, like, play with them and name them after they are deflated and don't float anymore...WEIRD!! So, of course, the balloons from Saturday have seen better days by now.
Yesterday, Ben colored his with a marker. Awwwww, isn't that cute...whatever!
Everyone knows that markers don't really dry on balloons. Well, Charlie was playing upstairs nicely while I was making beds a few minutes ago. He apparently really, really, REALLY liked Ben's balloon!! LOL!!

Cracking up here. We went to Red Robin last night, and came home with balloons. It nearly gives Ian a heart attack to get the three girls to the car with their balloons. He actually balks at the idea of going somewhere with balloons... I like the saying- nothing good comes from getting a balloon, funny and true!
OMG that is too funny!
rae
Even with marker all over his face...that baby Charlie is one gorgeous kid!!
Oh, that is the cutest picture! I bet Ben got a kick out of seeing his 'work' on Charlie's face. Too funny!!!
I saw the picture before I read the text and knew instinctively what had happened, lol! Having triplets does that to a person - expect anything :) Congrats on being a new aunt x3!
ah! hysterical!
LOL! How hilarious! Did he learn a lesson on balloons and markers? Being a boy, I'm sure he though it was fun to get 'dirty' like that! :)
