For Auntie Jen...

The boys have Religious Education on Monday afternoons and I am the teacher. LOL!! Anyway, we have a small class of five. It is a little funny that of the 5 kids that are in my class, 3 belong to me! The other two kids are next door neighbors and definitely give me a run for my money...wait, this is a volunteer job, there is no money! Honestly, it is quite a bit harder than I expected it to be, but we are suriviving and I think everyone is having some fun and learning. I definitely do have a new respect for kindergarten teachers! I seriously don't know how they do it!!!

Today, we were learning about praying. As our craft, the kids cut out crosses and wrote "I said a prayer for you today". They were supposed to decorate the crosses and give them to someone and say a special prayer for that person. Here is the one that Ben made for "Antie Jen". I guess 80 something days in the hospital earned her an extra prayer. ;) It was excellent timing because just last week, Jen was just telling me that she was afraid that the boys would forget about "Fun Aunt Jen" because she has been in the hospital for so long. I guess she was wrong. ;)

That's so sweet! It really sounds like you're raising compassionate, loving boys.

Awww, I'm not sure if it's the hormones or just me, but I'm close to tears after seeing Ben's picture. My Godson is something special!!!

As it turned out, it wasn't the hormones afterall. The "I said a prayer for you" cross brought me to tears again, almost 5 months later! The prayer on March 3 was very timely! Thanks Ben!
